DESCRIPTION:A multimedia installation exploring our relationship to home and the evolution of housing\, deconstructing that relationship\, and envisioning a new one. \nA reception with the artists and other local housing advocates and organizations will be held on First Friday\, May 3rd. \nAbout the Artists\nCorrine Yonce is an artist\, fair & affordable housing advocate\, and documentarian.  She combines visual art with ethnographic media\, including audio interviews\, household objects\, and photographs\, to explore how our individual ideas of home situates into our shared sense of community. Made from an authorless script\, from an abandoned 1986 Macintosh\, amid a global pandemic\, decades in the future. \n \n“The Stooge” by Rogelio Fojo\nYoung Barry Henson lands a gig as a magician’s assistant. His task seems simple enough – just be part of the audience. However\, when the seasoned magician Splendido calls for a volunteer\, Barry finds there’s more to this performance than meets the eye. \n\n“I Have Something To Get Off My Chest” by Cedar O’Dowd\nA trans man recovers from top surgery. Experimental animation blends with live action. \n \n“Zeppo” by Noah Mauchly\nZeppo finds a balloon and is overwhelmed with joy.
