She later on went to work at NPR-Affiliated public radio station KPCC in Los Angeles and as a Story Art Fellow at Business Insider in New York. She has done comics journalism reporting for the Washington Post\, LA Times\, The Stranger Seattle\, and Business Insider. She uses her comics journalism work to illuminate stories about queerness and belonging through the magical storytelling power of comics.
