SUMMARY:Story Jam: Bi-monthly Storytelling Circle
DESCRIPTION:THIS MONTH’S THEME IS: HAREBRAINED ADVENTURES\nIn a society increasingly divided and isolated\, storytelling can bring us together.Story Jam is a bi-monthly story circle where community members can meet to get to know each other through personal stories. All members of the Upper Valley community are invited to join the circle and share an unrehearsed 5-minute true story from their own life. No competition\, no judgment\, no lecturing\, no ranting… Just share a story about something that happened to you and listen to other people’s stories. Whether you are a new or seasoned storyteller; whether you are shy or extroverted – all are welcome! The moderators will keep track of time to make sure everyone has a chance to speak.  Read more about StoryJAM and Upper Valley storytelling in Daybreak!\n\nFor more info\, reach us at storyjam@uvjam.org\n\n\nMade possible in part by funding from

SUMMARY:377 by SARLO Productions
DESCRIPTION:“377” is a play about the grief and trauma of gun violence told through the perspective of high schoolers before and after a school shooting. No violence is ever portrayed on stage and collaborators Arlo Hastings and Seth Kelly put in months of research ahead of writing “377” with the goal of making the play as accurate as possible. \nSarlo Productions were advised by Lebanon High School Choral Music and Theater Arts Teacher\, Emma Cooke. “377” was created as part of a JAM High School Media Fellowship under the guidance of JAM technical director and senior producer\, Chico Eastridge. \n \n“377” cast and crew\nABOUT SARLO PRODUCTIONS\nArlo Hastings is a rising senior at Lebanon High School (LHS) and is the co-writer\, director\, and producer of “377.”  They have performed in many LHS Wet Paint Players productions\, including Eurydice\, as Orpheus\, and Merrily We Roll Along\, as Mary. Arlo is so proud of the cast for taking on this heavy play and bringing this script to life.  \n“We wrote this show because we had an opportunity to write and produce under the guidance of Emma Cooke\, and we realized that we could make a difference. We had a platform to share the voice of not just us but thousands of students across the nation. I hope that people take this show as a genuine plea for action.” – Arlo \nSeth Kelly\, a rising senior at Lebanon High School (LHS)\, is the co-writer\, director\, and producer of “377.” Most recently he played Charley Kringas in the LHS Wet Paint Players’ Merrily We Roll Along. Seth is simply incredibly thrilled to be doing what he loves\, with the people he loves\, about a topic he is passionate about\, and he is so grateful for all the people that want to help him achieve this. \n“As high school students we often don’t get a chance to share our voice but I think this is a topic that effects high school and college students the most and it’s our opinions that should be taken into consideration when deciding what to do.  This is why we wrote this show.  It is way for us to tell the world how much this effects not just the people who lose there lives or who lose a loved one in a school shooting but that this effects all of us every day.  This play intends to help us towards the goal of a nation and a world where this becomes a problem of the past” – Seth \n \nArlo Hastings (left) and Seth Kelly (right)\nMADE POSSIBLE IN PART BY FUNDING FROM

SUMMARY:Story JAM: Bi-Monthly Storytelling Circle
DESCRIPTION:This month’s theme is: schooled!\nIn a society increasingly divided and isolated\, storytelling can bring us together.Story Jam is a bi-monthly story circle where community members can meet to get to know each other through personal stories.
