JAM wants to help you record and broadcast your event!
There are several ways to get your event recorded for broadcast and streaming on JAM channels and/or other destinations.
- You can come into JAM for an orientation and borrow equipment to record it yourself! (We like to empower folks to fish for themselves…)
- We can help connect you with volunteers who may be available to produce a media recording for you, depending on availability.
- A JAM producer can record your event, as long as it takes place in our service area towns, we have capacity, and you’re willing to share it with JAM channels. (We request 3 weeks’ advanced notice.)

If your project takes place outside our service area, is more complex (such as a documentary), or is intended for a limited audience (e.g. a fundraising video), you may opt to hire a JAM crew. JAM Media Programs Content Guidelines:
Programs cannot violate JAM-FCC regulations which include the following:
❖ Programs may not contain copyrighted material unless permission has been secured by the
show producer from the material creator(s). This includes plays, TV programs, movies, music, images, video, etc.
❖ Shows cannot show product and service bias.
❖ Shows should not include:
– Promotional calls to action (“Contact us now…”)
– Pricing (“Tours beginning at $1,500”)
– Offers or inducements to buy (“Free upgrade”)
– Superlative or qualitative claims (“Our exciting tours….”)
– Depiction of “satisfied customers”, i.e. testimonials (“This company is the best I’ve ever worked with…”)
– Comparative claim (“Their brokers work harder than _….”)

Copyright
JAM grants copyright of content produced by individuals using JAM production equipment/services to the individual producer. Copyright of content produced by JAM staff remains with JAM. JAM reserves the right to broadcast and stream on JAM channels/platforms any media produced with JAM equipment or the assistance of JAM staff.
Indemnification
I release from liability and agree to indemnify and hold harmless JAM and any of its employees, agents, or volunteers representing or related to JAM for any liability in connection with the use or possession of JAM borrowed equipment, and content created. This release is for any and all liability for personal injuries and property losses or damage occasioned by, or in connection with the possession or use of the JAM equipment.
