Director of Development and Communications, Full-Time

JAM – JUNCTION ARTS & MEDIA is seeking a Development and Communications Director with experience in non-profit fundraising to join the JAM senior management team of a dynamic, growing media arts organization to lead fundraising efforts, develop new fundraising models, and strengthen community engagement with JAM in the Upper Valley of NH and VT. Responsibilities include grant-writing, sponsor cultivation, membership program administration, directing fundraising appeals and events, development-related strategic communications and database management, and reporting related to JAM activities, including final and annual reports. This position reports to the Executive Director, works closely with the JAM staff and board, and interacts directly with the local community. This position is integral to JAM’s three-year strategic plan, which prioritizes building a durable and sustainable home for JAM in a changing funding landscape.

This position is full-time/exempt, includes benefits, and can be performed partially remote.

Production Assistants, Part-Time

JAM currently seeks part-time Production Assistants (PAs) with an interest in local government/community events for our government and field producing teams.

Preferred familiarity and experience:  basic digital video and audio operating, comfort and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment, strong communication skills.  If you are an eager learner, we will teach you the rest on the job.

PAs will join field videographers on our team to cover select board and school board meetings and community events in Hartland, Hartford, Norwich VT; Hanover and Lebanon NH.  Community events include lectures, live performance, activism, and documentary profiles.   A valid driver’s license is a plus. Must be able lift up to 45 lbs and be available to work evenings.
