Assist with Video Production
Do you like engaging author talks, compelling science lectures, melodious musical performances, and exciting sporting events? Volunteer with our production department! You will help our JAM production crew by running an additional camera, monitoring audio, taking photos, and helping with set-up/break down at live events both at JAM and in the Upper Valley. This volunteer opportunity is best for someone who loves to learn on the job and has a flexible schedule. Volunteers must be 16 or older and responsible for their own transportation.

Volunteer at the White River Indie Festival
The White River Indie Festival, WRIF relies on the generous support of volunteers to run our box office and to keep JAM open to festival-goers during this annual event. Volunteers in turn are able to to see one WRIF movie per volunteer shift for free. Find out more about WRIF here. Volunteers must be 16 or older or accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.

Help In Our Studio Office
Help us keep our gear inventoried and organize our media archives. Sort through JAM’s DVD archive of CATV footage to find interesting community media of yesteryear then upload it to YouTube for our Upper Valley audience to enjoy. We have SO MANY CABLES and they ALWAYS need to be wrapped and organized! This volunteer opportunity is best for someone with availability between 9 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday and enjoys sorting and organizing or is passionate about archival work. Volunteers must be 16 or older.

Produce Your Own Show!
Our favorite volunteer projects include community members who want to produce shows. Produce a short movie or documentary, podcast, interview local people or businesses, start a studio show—whatever your interest, we are here to help you create! We only ask that you allow us to air your show on JAM cable TV and streaming. Learn more at Create.
