The JAM Movie & Summer Feature Film Intensive
Join the JAM crew as we create a feature film right here in the Upper Valley! Participants in JAM’s Summer Feature Film Intensive will join a professional crew and cast to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of feature film production, including on-set location filming, directing actors, art direction, camera and lighting, sound, and animated title design. The final film is intended for general distribution (festivals, theatrical and streaming), and upon completion, participants will receive a professional credit for your crew role(s) in the distributed film. This program is designed for high school and college students with a strong interest in filmmaking who seek a rigorous educational opportunity exploring the field. Participants will gain exposure to all aspects of filmmaking but will also be assigned to a department to contribute more deeply as a crew member in areas of highest interest.
- SFFI is open to Rising High School Sophomores to Rising College Seniors
- This is an unpaid internship, with credit available if applicable
- Directed by Samantha Davidson Green, Chico Eastridge, Jordyn Fitch, Cedar O’Dowd and Noah Mauchly
To note: This production will be led by staff and will follow protocol for a professional film shoot. Shooting day schedules will be determined closer to the start of production. Crew must be available anytime within the days of the session, including some night shoots. Shooting days will be up to 12 hours. Hours will vary, minimum 12 hour break between start and end of shoot days.
THE JAM SUMMER FEATURE FILM INTENSIVE IS FULL. HOWEVER, WE ARE STILL WELCOMING VOLUNTEERS! FILL OUT THIS VOLUNTEER SURVEY TO JOIN US AS CREW OR A BACKGROUND PLAYER IN “VALLEY TRANSIT” THIS SUMMER.
