The world premiere of Sir Babygirl’s experimental rock opera, “How To Stay Sane While Losing Your Mind,” crashes into Briggs Opera House March 7th and 8th. Mixing Greek mythology, absurdism and queer camp, we join Sir Babygirl’s Persephone in Hell, a few days before her annual return to Spring. What could go wrong? It’s only nature after all.
After a growing recording and touring career pre-pandemic, Sir Babygirl lost it all, moved back home, and has spent the last several years rebuilding her zany world from the ashes up, one musical number at a time. This is her sophomore album, in operatic form. Join her and her incredible band of musicians and local creative and technical talents as they bring help bring an Odyssey of the human condition to the Upper Valley.
