About the Instructor

John is a native to the Upper Valley, having grown up attending JAM summer camps and even worked for then CATV under Bob Franzoni. He graduated from Hartford High School and has recently returned to the area as a working professional. Holding a Bachelor's degree in journalism from DePaul University, he has spent the last 2+ years serving as the U.V. bureau reporter for NBC5.  In his role, John covers a diverse array of stories and topics, ranging from crime and politics to feature stories – with the latter being his favorite. On the job, he frequently immerses himself in the community, experiencing its unique aspects and engaging with the people in it.  Adding to his responsibilities, John has taken on a new challenge: assisting Listen Community Services with their content creation and communication strategy.
