Belgium’s submission to the Academy Awards and shortlisted for a Best International Feature nomination, Playground takes us inside a world often hidden from adult eyes. Writer-director Laura Wandel locates the nascent prejudices and aggressions that plague our society in the newly formed relationships children forge when away from their parents.
