JAM Artist Spotlight: C.J. Henrich
I am a Dartmouth alumni who double majored in music and film & media studies and now permanently lives in the Upper Valley. I try to combine my love of music with my passion for filmmaking.
“I try my best to focus on memory as a concept. Humans are truly so grounded within our own past experiences where the basis of our identity and choices come from our expectations that we ground within such memories. Memories can motivate us towards the future or drown us through our past. Considering that very few things ever resolve in life with ambiguous traces remaining even though we try to make art with satisfying endings, I personally love to focus on memory as a concept as a form of continuity to analyze human limitations.”

High and Low – Incredible social drama transforms into such an intense police procedural. Unparalleled blocking in large group shots. Fantastic application of themes within the film’s cinematography.
