TWIST 2026: TWIn STate Comics & Zine Fair

Announcing the 5th annual TWIST (Twin State Comics and Zine Fair) on First Friday, October 2! TWIST features 35 Upper Valley and New England cartoonists and zinesters including students and alums from the Center for Cartoon Studies. This event is FREE to table and attend!

To celebrate TWIST’s 5th year, we’re excited to announce BONUS events:

🎤 Thu Oct 1, 7-9PM: Live Comics Reading the Filling Station Bar (21+ only)
📝 Fri Oct 2, 5:30-6:30PM: Zine Factory Workshop at the Center for Cartoon Studies (all ages; family friendly)

TWIST is organized by JAM staff Cedar O’Dowd and Ana Liu and artists Alex Bullett, Rachel Bivens, Jenna Jurgelewicz, all living or working in the Upper Valley. 

JAM has hosted TWIST for 5 years through support from the VT Better Places grant, the NH Charitable Foundation, the Vermont Arts Council, the Couch Family Foundation, and donations from individuals, with additional sponsorship from Kilton Library, BocoSoca Mexican Grill, The Center for Cartoon Studies, and Revolution.
